Fenerbahce are set to return with an offer for Jack Wilshere when the Turkish transfer window re-opens in January.

According to The Mirror, Fenerbahce failed with a move for Wilshere on Friday as they offered £10m for the Englishman.

Wilshere is currently working his way back to full fitness after suffering a leg fracture in April whilst on loan to Bournemouth.

The 25-year-old spent last season on loan to Bournemouth in the Premier League last season.

The midfielder racked up 25 league appearances for the Cherries. This is the most Premier League games he has managed in a season since 2010/11.

Serie A side Sampdoria offered Arsenal £6m – with £1.5m in add-ons – for Wilshere earlier this summer, which was rejected by the Gunners, with Arsenal clearly valuing him at more than £10m now.

Arsenal are looking to offload Wilshere in the next transfer window, as he is not in Arsene Wenger’s current plans.
