Juventus looking into signing Jack Wilshere
With just a year left on his contract and out of Arsene Wenger’s first-team plans, it seems as if Arsenal are gearing up to sell Jack Wilshere this summer.
A fractured leg suffered at the end of last season during a largely successful loan spell at Bournemouth has slowed down any potential departure from the club, but now back in training, Wilshere’s future is set to be determined this summer.
The likes of West Ham and Newcastle have both been linked with moves for the England international, while Sampdoria have had a bid turned down for him already, but another Serie A club are looking into signing Wilshere before the transfer window closes.
According to TMW, Italian champions Juventus are considering a potential swoop for the Arsenal outcast as a backup option to Miralem Pjanic in midfield.
Wilshere is keen to secure a move away from Arsenal to play some regular football and revive his career & a bid to make England’s 2018 World Cup squad, and Juventus are prepared to hand him an opportunity having sold Mario Lemina to Southampton earlier this month.
While it’s his preference to stay in the Premier League, Wilshere is open to all options and a move to Juventus hasn’t been ruled out but it’s far from completion.
