Arsenal kick off their 2017/18 Premier League season at the Emirates tonight against the 2015/16 champions, Leicester City.

The Gunners are expected to give league debuts to Bosnian defender Sead Kolasinac and French striker Alexandre Lacazette as they look to get their campaign underway with a win.

Leicester kicked off the 2016/17 season with a visit to Hull City and the then-defending Premier League champions were beaten by the newly promoted Tigers 2-1. Arsenal will be hoping that they start the new campaign in a similar manner!

Ahead of tonight’s encounter, we’ve taken a look at Arsenal’s opening Premier League games from the last five seasons. It’s fair to say that the results have been a bit of a mixed bag!
