Arsenal are evidently keen to land Thomas Lemar from Monaco this summer, but it’s not looking as though the Ligue 1 champions are willing to part company with their key man.
According to GFFN, the Gunners’ improved second offer worth in the region of €45m was met by no response from Monaco.

Arsene Wenger is reportedly a huge admirer of the France international and is doing whatever he can to lure him to the Emirates. However, Monaco are digging their heels in and are keen to shut up shop for the summer.
Leonardo Jardim’s side have already lost Bernardo Silva to Manchester City, and Tiemoue Bakayoko is looking set to join Chelsea in the next couple of days. As a result of this, Monaco are keen to keep hold of the core of their squad and this means rejecting the inevitable offers that will come in.
Arsenal could place a third bid for Lemar, though, with the winger clearly high up on Wenger’s wish-list this summer.
