Borussia Dortmund are interested in signing Olivier Giroud as a replacement for Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, according to the Mirror.

Dortmund are the latest team to join the race to sign the Frenchman, who has attracted interest from Everton, West Ham and Marseille.

With the arrival of Alexandre Lacazette for a club record fee, Giroud’s already limited game time will only reduce this season.

Giroud is a regular starter for Didier Deschamps’ France team and with the World Cup in Russia taking place this summer, Giroud is eyeing guaranteed playing time.

While Aubameyang is still a Dortmund player, the speedy striker has been continually linked with a move away.

PSG have shown the most interest, however, it appears that Chelsea have now joined the race after missing out on Romelu Lukaku to Manchester United.

Giroud has already admitted during Arsenal’s pre-season tour in Australia that he could leave the club this summer.
