Barcelona have cooled their interest in Arsenal right-back Hector Bellerin, according to Sky Sports.
The report claims that Barcelona have moved their attention away from Bellerin as they look to strike a deal with Benfica for Nelson Semedo.
Barcelona have sent a team to Portugal to tie up a move for Semedo, who is thought to be valued at over €30m.
This comes after reports this summer that Barcelona were lining up a return for Hector Bellerin.
The Spaniard left Barcelona in 2011 to join Arsenal’s academy and has gone on to make 114 first-team appearances for the Gunners.
Bellerin has played over 40 games in all competitions in each of his last two seasons at Arsenal, after making 28 in his debut year.
The 22-year-old struggled at times last season but is still very highly thought of in Europe, with Barcelona in the market for a right-back.
However, it appears as though Semedo is the fullback of choice and not Bellerin.
