How Arsenal could line-up at the start of the season

Arsene Wenger looks set for a busy summer after recently signing his two-year contract extension with the club.

Wenger is ready to overhaul his Arsenal squad after they only managed a 5th place finish in the Premier League last season, missing out on a Champions League spot for the first time in 20 years.

Arsenal are being linked with a tonne of new faces this summer as they look to improve on the disappointment of last season.

Arsenal have already confirmed the signing of Bosnian left-back Saed Kolasinac from Schalke, whilst the Gunners are also being heavily linked with the likes of Kylian Mbappe, Alexandre Lacazette, Riyad Mahrez and Thomas Lemar.

Several first team players are also being linked with moves away from the Emirates this season, including Alexis Sanchez, Mesut Ozil, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Olivier Giroud.

After playing around with the back four and then the back five last season, Wenger has a whole array of different formations available to him for the beginning of next season.

Here is what I think the Arsenal starting 11 could look like come the start of the season:
