Madrid target wants to leave with Arsenal front of the queue
Lyon president Jean-Michel Aulas has admitted that striker Alexandre Lacazette wants to leave the club, reports the Mirror. Lacazette, who scored 37 goals last season for the French side, is one of the most in-demand strikers in Europe this summer.
The below video looks at Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain’s potential move to Liverpool as well as the swoop for Lacazette.

The Gunners’ move for Lacazette is not impacted by the fact that Lyon have signed Chelsea forward Bertrand Traore, insists Aulas, but the report claims that Arsene Wenger thinks he has done enough to persuade the France international – who has been a target for Atletico Madrid but is unable to join them due to their transfer ban – to make the switch to the Emirates.
While the 26-year-old could be on his way to North London, midfielder Oxlade-Chamberlain may be set for a move north with Liverpool weighing him up, according to James Pearce of the Liverpool Echo.
He says the Reds will need to pay Arsenal £25m for the former Southampton man but with only 12 months left on his contract, Arsenal risk losing him for free if he neither signs the £80,000 per week contract renewal offer on the table or agrees a move elsewhere.
Wenger will not want to sell one of his most valuable players to a domestic rival and the Echo note that Liverpool’s depth in midfield makes a starting berth for Oxlade-Chamberlain unlikely at Anfield should he sign for them.
