Lucas Perez’s agent Rodrigo Fernandez Lovelle has confirmed that his client is looking to leave Arsenal this summer but as it stands, he is unsure if the striker will get his wish.
Arsenal paid Deportivo La Coruna £17million to sign Perez but his opportunities have been limited at the Emirates and as such, he is pushing for a move to a club where he can play regular first-team football.
Speaking to Spanish radio station Radio Gallega, Lovelle said:
The idea is to be able to play for another club. We want to leave and Arsenal already know. Do you know anyone who is happy but has no opportunities?
In truth, it makes sense for Perez to want to leave. Aged 28, he is coming into his peak years and he’ll want more from that period of time than sitting on Arsenal’s bench.
His agent confirmed that Perex is looking for a move before Arsenal start pre-season training and that two Spanish sides are interested in his client.
The key date is 3rd July when Arsenal’s preseason begins, Anything is possible. The president of Depor can do wonders while last year I met with Sevilla, who again are interested.
