Regardless of how this season ends and regardless of who is actually in charge of the team next season, we all know that Arsenal need to make significant additions to the playing squad in the summer in order to have the team competing for a league title next season.
There are plenty of players out there, many of whom are being linked with a move to the Emirates, but which of those players would we like to see the Gunners sign?
I’ve taken a look at five players who I personally would love Arsenal to sign for my summer wish list.
Keep in mind that I’ve gone for realistic signings, because, as nice as it would be to see Lionel Messi at the Emirates, it’s unlikely to happen!
Sead Kolasinac
Arsenal are in need of an upgrade at left back and Sead Kolasinac, who is available on a free transfer, would provide just that.
Franck Kessie
Arsenal, for me, need two additions in the centre of midfield to help with depth. Franck Kessie would being some much needed drive and physicality.
Naby Keita
Naby Keita has shown this season just how good he is. His ability to win the ball back and use it well would be a major asset to the Gunners, especially in big games.
Quincy Promes
A player who can play anywhere across the front three. For me, he’s like an upgraded Theo Walcott.
Alexander Lacazette
Alexis Sanchez is a star and scores for fun, and the same can be said for Alexander Lacazette. He’d give Arsenal the regular-scoring centre-forward they’ve long desired.
