Wenger eyes summer move for Spanish midfielder
Arsenal are thought to be interested in signing Malaga midfielder Pablo Fornals, according to the Mirror.
Fornals, who has one cap for the Spanish national team has been subject to interest from the Gunners.
It is believed that Wenger has sent scouts to watch the player on several occasions already this season.
The Malaga midfielder reportedly has a £8.5 million release clause in his current deal with the La Liga side.
With Santi Cazorla facing a race against time to prove his fitness at the Emirates, the Gunners could bring in Fornals as a replacement for the ageing Spaniard.
Fornals, who can play in a deeper role, or a more advanced playmaker role, has scored four goals already this season and his performances have not gone unnoticed.
The 21-year-old has come through the youth system with Malaga and made his La Liga debut in 2015 away to Real Madrid in a 0-0 draw.
