As if there wasn’t enough focus on Arsene Wenger and his future as Arsenal manager, the humiliating 5-1 loss to Bayern Munich in the Champions League has certainly led to even more speculation about the Frenchman and whether or not he’ll be in charge of the Gunners next season.
As it stands, all signs point towards Wenger leaving, news that will please some of the fan base, who despite respecting his past achievements. feel like he is now holding the club back.
If Wenger does leave, the Arsenal job will attract a lot of managers who would love to replace him and there’ll be plenty of possible candidates.
