Arsenal will look to continue their recent run of good form when they travel to Merseyside to face an Everton side that looks to be suffering from a lack of confidence and ideas.
After a promising start, the Blues have won just one of their last ten league games with Arsenal winning seven and drawing three games over the same time period.
Having said that, Everton are unbeaten in 10 league games at Goodison Park since April and Arsene Wenger has never won an away tie against a Ronald Koeman side, so this game is unlikely to be a walkover.
In terms of team news, Arsenal will be without both Shkodran Mustafi and Aaron Ramsey as the pair are recovering from hamstring injuries.
With all that being said, here’s the XI that we think Wenger will select for tonight’s game:
Goalkeeper: Petr Cech
Obvious choice really. He’s the clear number one.
Right Back: Hector Bellerin
Arsenal will be glad to have Bellerin back as right-back has been a problem area in recent weeks.
Centre Back: Laurent Koscielny
The captain will take his place in defence once again, although we will have a new partner.
Centre Back: Gabriel
With Mustafi out, Gabriel will deputise in his place.
Left Back: Nacho Monreal
Kieran Gibbs has done little wrong but Monreal is likely to keep his place in the Premier League XI.
Centre Midfield: Francis Coquelin
Everton’s midfield is very industrious, so Coquelin will need to be on his game.
Centre Midfield: Granit Xhaka
There are a few options to play in midfield but we think the manager will stick with Xhaka.
Attacking Midfield: Mesut Ozil
Ozil will look to add to his goal against Stoke with another strike against the Blues.
Left Forward: Alex Iwobi
Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain has done little wrong but with three games in a week, we think the manager will freshen things up by bringing Iwobi back in.
Right Forward: Theo Walcott
With us predicting thar the Ox gets rested, it’s logical to think that Theo will stay in the side.
Striker: Alexis Sanchez
The Chilean star has been excellent this year. He’ll be hoping to continue his great run of form at Goodison.
