Santi Cazorla set to miss PSG and Bournemouth games
Arsneal have been dealt an injury blow ahead of their Champions League tie with PSG and their league game with Bournemouth after it emerged that midfielder Santi Cazorla will be unavailable for selection.
The Spaniard hasn’t played since the 6-0 win over Ludogorets due to an Achilles injury and Arsenal hoped to have him back post-international break but he has not recovered as well as possible.
Arsenal missed Cazorla’s creativity in the recent draw with Manchester United and deployed two holding midfielders and ideally, Arsene Wenger would want to use the Spaniard to help link up the play.
Although they’re already through to the last 16 in the Champions League, Arsenal will be hoping to get a win over PSG to ensure that they top the group.
Whilst there is no guarantee of an easier draw by finishing top, there will be a lot of weaker teams in the pot for Arsenal to be drawn against.
Arsenal will hope to have Cazorla back for the trip to West Ham in early December.
