Jack Wilshere joins Bournemouth on loan
Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere has joined Bournemouth on a season-long loan in a late deadline day transfer.
The 24-year-old midfielder had interest from both Crystal Palace and Serie A side Roma, while AC Milan were loosely linked to him. However it looks like he has made the decision to join Bournemouth.
Wilshere has been a part of Arsenal since 2001, and has made over 150 appearances across all competitions to the Gunners. His professional career has been plagued with injuries, he missed the majority of the 2015/16 season after breaking his fibula.
He has won the FA Cup twice with the Gunners, coming on as a substitute during both the 2013/14 and 2014/15 finals.
Bournemouth broke their club record transfer fee earlier this summer to bring Liverpool’s Jordon Ibe to the side for £15 million. They have also brought in Nathan Ake from Chelsea on loan.
Arsenal have made two late deals this week to bring in Valencia centre-back Shkodran Mustafi and Deportivo foward Lucas Perez.
