Arsenal eye Brahimi after missing out on Mahrez
After missing out on Leicester City’s Riyad Mahrez, Arsene Wenger is apparently looking to bring in Porto star Yacine Brahimi before the transfer window closes, according to a report from Tom Hopkinson of The Mirror.
The Algerian wants to leave Porto this summer and it looks like the Portuguese side will keep up their tradition of selling their best players for large fees as they are reportedly willing to accept bids of around £40million for the 26-year-old.
Brahimi, who has scored 21 goals in 85 appearances for Porto since 2014, has been linked with moves to both Chelsea and Liverpool in the recent past, but it looks like the Gunners are side most likely to bring him to the Premier League.Arsenal have a lot of attacking midfielders in their squad, but after pursuing Mahrez and with this link to Brahimi, it appears that Arsene Wenger is keen to freshen things up by adding another attacker to his squad
