In what is becoming the transfer saga of the summer, Jamie Vardy’s proposed move to Arsenal has become almost a daily discussion in the media, ever since Arsenal activated his release clause.
At first it was reported that the England international would have a medical at the club before heading to the Euros with England. After paying the release clause, later confirmed by Claudio Ranieri, Arsenal had been thought to have agreed his wages and were just waiting on Vardy to agree the move.
Initially, Arsenal had set a deadline for the striker to make his decision but everyday that the move was not confirmed, it became more doubtful that he would join Arsenal.
Now,reports have emerged that Jamie Vardy is likely to decline a move to Arsenal and sign a an improved deal with Leicester.
Although Vardy has admitted that he has made no decision on his future, and will leave it until the he returns from the Euros, in an interview, Arsene Wenger was doubtful that the striker would join.
