Now that the football season is officially over, it is time for certain decisions to be made. Most clubs will now evaluate their respective squads, and determine whether certain players still have a future at their club.
Arsenal, have had a 11 players out on loan this season. Although, the north London club finished second this year, the squad is in need of additions. While many have concluded that Arsenal need to dip into the transfer market, the answer for Arsenal’s troubles could yet lie within their 11 loanees.
Wojciech Szczesny, is one player whose future remains very unclear. The Polish ‘keeper has had a solid season for Roma in Serie A, however with Petr Cech entrenched as Arsenal’s number one goalkeeper, and David Ospina the number two; it seems Szczesny will have to compete with Ospina for the second spot – something which may not be desirable to the Polish international.
So now that it is the end of the season, let’s take a look at how the rest of Arsenal’s players did on loan this year.
