Arsenal are set to face Everton at Goodison Park on Saturday afternoon after their Wednesday evening disappointment at the hands of European champions Barcelona – who defeated the north London side by five goals to one in the last 16 of the UEFA Champions League.

With just nine fixtures left of the Gunners’ league campaign remaining, they have to start picking up some points as soon as possible or risk failure for yet another season, having also been knocked out of the FA Cup by Watford.

Arsenal go into the game a whopping 11 points behind league leaders Leicester City and six behind Tottenham Hotspur in second place. The good news is that Arsene Wenger’s side have a game in hand against West Bromwich Albion to be played next month, so if they pick up points until then and hope that the two sides above them begin to drop points, their fortunes could be turned around.

Is this the XI that will contend against the Toffees?
