Arsenal under-21’s star Krystian Bielik is confident that his side can avenge their early season loss to Aston Villa, when the two sides meet on Monday evening at London Colney.
The north London reserves go into the game in fantastic form, having not lost since the December fixture against the Midlands side, winning a stunning seven games in a row since then.
With Bielik at the heart of the defence for Arsenal, establishing a stern and solid partnership alongside ex-Barcelona defender Julio Pleguezuelo, the Polish defender has been as well as his teammate have both been tipped for bright respective futures.
The under-21’s go into the game against Villa second in the league, five points behind top of the division Derby County, although the Gunners have three games in hand.
Bielik, as reported by the club’s official website, told Arsenal Player that he is confident the north London side will be able to get one over their league rivals.
We feel very good.
We are happy and this is a good time for us. We will keep going and try to win every single game.
This is a good time to show [Aston Villa] that we are a better team than them. We will do this in the next game. We would like to stay unbeaten to the end of the season and it has always been our target to win the league and FA Youth Cup.
If we work hard and play like we did against Fulham, we will have a good chance to win both. I don’t think we feel pressure.
We know we are a very good team and we have very good players in every position. We are confident and know we can beat anyone. Our target is to win every single game but if we lose, we will be angry but we will work out the things that went wrong.
