Arsenal will officially sign midfielder Kelechi Nwakali from the Diamond Football Academy for an estimated £3m, as per Darren Lewis of the Mirror.
The Nigerian youngster turns 18 in June, which is the month that the move to north London will be confirmed.
His move was slowed down due to obtaining a work permit and obtaining a visa, but it’s now said to be completed and he will be able to join his boyhood club in the summer.

Nwakali has attracted interest from other clubs around Europe, such as Bayern Munich, which is unsurprising after he captained his nation to under-17 World Cup glory in 2015, a tournament in which he was named the most valuable player.
The 17-year-old spoke to Tribune Online about a potential move to the Gunners a few weeks ago and made it clear that he wants to move to north London to fight for a place in Arsene Wenger’s first team.
I am going to Arsenal to work and try to be the best I can, and with God anything is possible, to work hard to justify my claim for first team football.
