CSKA Moscow forward Ahmed Musa has made it known that the next club he would like to play for is Arsenal.
Interest from clubs? What club? I do not care!
But Musa has to play, you know. I cannot sit on the bench. So I will have to go to the Premier League club that will believe in me.
As it turns out, the club he hopes has the most belief in him, is the club he’s supported since he was a child.
I would be happy if I was wanted by Arsenal. I have supported the team since the age of six. Nwankwo Kanu has been my idol since childhood. It will be fantastic to play for Arsenal.
Musa went on to confirm Leicester City’s interest in signing him but wanted to make it clear that he plans to see this season through with CSKA Moscow.
I will not hide it – Leicester actually came to our club. But I repeat that I want to finish the season with CSKA to help them to win a championship, and then think about changing team.
So far, in 30 appearances across all competitions for CSKA Moscow, Musa has found the back of the net 11 times, perhaps a tally that Arsene Wenger may be interested in.
This news comes on the heels of Arsenal’s dramatic 2-2 draw at White Hart Lane, where they were forced to play most of the second half with 10 men, in a memorable North London Derby.
