I believe I am not far away from my dream of playing for Arsenal. He recommended me to Angers. The French team watched me score in Toto Cup semi-finals.

I am happy that a coach like Wenger has interest in me for long, still keeps his eyes on me and has not lost interest.

The Nigerian under-21 forward is currently playing for Israeli side, Hapoel Ironi Khryat Shmona. Amutu scored two goals in the semi-final of the Israeli Toto cup, to seal a final match up against Maccabi Petah Tivka.

Due to Wenger’s recommendation, Amutu was scouted by Angers in the semi-final. His move to France could not be far away, and Amutu sees it as the next step to fulfilling his dream of playing in the Premier League – where he thinks he should be playing now.
