Former Manchester United and Real Madrid striker Javier Hernandez has been rumoured with an Arsenal move in recent weeks, however, recent reports have revealed that Bayer Leverkusen sporting executive Rudi Voller has strongly dismissed the rumours of a possible move this transfer window.
Speaking on the Mexican international, Voller firmly claimed that Hernandez was not for sale.
We’re not selling Chicharito to Arsenal or anyone else. He’s not for sale.
After spending last season on loan at Real Madrid from Manchester United, Chicharito ‘joined Bayer Leverkusen in the summer window and has had a terrific season so far for the Bundesliga side, scoring 19 goals in 22 appearances.
It would certainly have been an ambitious move for the Gunners, with Hernandez only recently joining the German side and it could also have been difficult to tempt the striker to a return to the Premier League.
Arsenal were preparing to make a move for the Mexican international this month but have now been told to look elsewhere in their search for a striker.
