After a loss to West Ham in their Premier League opener, Arsenal are seemingly under pressure from fans to make a big name signing up front and reports are insisting that the 27-year-old French striker Karim Benzema is the north London club’s main priority right now.
Orlando City’s Ricardo Kaka, who spent four-years at Real Madrid, has praised his former teammate but has stated that he believes the Spanish giants will not allow the Frenchman to move to Arsenal.
“I think Benzema is one of the best forwards at this moment so I don’t think Real Madrid will give him away so easily,” he told talkSPORT.

“But Karim Benzema is a very good player and if he can have the opportunity to go to Arsenal then Arsenal will take a very, very good player.”
Kaka himself was close to a move to the Premier League back in January 2009, when Manchester City had reportedly made a mammoth £100m bid for the Brazilian who was an AC Milan player at the time.
However, talks were unsuccessful and Kaka decided to remain with the Italian club. The stay was short-lived though, as the Ballon d’Or winner joined Real Madrid in a €70m deal just under 6 months later.
